I'm pleased to announce a feature that I've been wanting to incorporate for a little while now, and has been requested previously - appointment reminders!
Now by default, Equinote will send an email reminder to your clients who have an upcoming appointment in 3 days time. If they've forgotten or are now unavailable, this will give them enough time to contact you about this cancellation, hopefully enabling you to pick up another appointment, or at least reschedule your time in advance if necessary.
This feature is turned on for all clients in your organisation, however you are able to turn it off on a per-client basis or for your whole business if you desire.
As mentioned, this is only an email reminder for now, however I'd be interested to know if this fulfils most needs, or whether something like text reminders would be more useful for your clients. Please get in touch if you have any feedback relating to this!
That's it for this update, I'm really excited about this feature and hopefully you are too! Keep reading for instructions on how to turn off notifications for clients or your whole business.
If you don't want to send email reminders to a specific client, you can do so by going to their client page, hitting that edit button and then unchecking the option "Send appointment reminders". They will no longer receive appointment reminders in future.
If you don't want to send any appointment reminders to any of your clients, and turn this feature off completely, you can do this in your company settings. Just click your company name at the top of any page (or in the mobile menu) and click edit on your company page.
You can then uncheck the option "Send appointment reminders" and no appointment reminders will be sent to any of your clients.
